"THERE ARE NO GOVERMENT STANDARDS THAT REQUIRE BOTTLED WATER TO BE ANY BETTER, PURER OR SAFER THAN TAP WATER!" OH MY MUFFY!

Originally posted by ArrakisI thought they add chlorine to the water in some areas. I have always had well water, and I don't feel like killing anyone. I took a sip and said, "Yes it does".
She took another sip and said, "Thanks for ruining it for me, I didn't taste it anymore".
So, are you sure it's the floride, and not chlorine they put in the water in some places?

Originally posted by ArrakisIt must be your fillings in your teeth. Yes, the culprit is in your mouth.
I only drink bottled water. In fact, I use bottled water, even for my ice cubes that I use for mixed drinks. 😕
The heavy metals (mercury) slowly leach into your mouth, traveling into your blood and settle into your brain. This in turn drives you to do crazy and sporatic things.
How many fillings do you have in that mouth of yours?
Originally posted by Arrakiswhere do you think the bottled water comes from? As a matter of fact, many of those same cities whose water you don't care for, are actually the processors of the bottled water you enjoy. Go figure. I know this for a fact because I have done work inside of the production facilities where the water is bottled. Also, chlorine is used far more frequently than flouride in local tap water, although both are present. Just in case you were interested.

Originally posted by mlpriorAmalgum fillings are said to be bad for you, but my Dad has had them for 55 years and I have had them for 40 years and we both fall into the not affected group. Jeez, the air we breathe has toxins in it. The water is becoming so contaminated due to the waste that is being dumped in landfills and the water system, the beef you eat is infected with mad cow, the pork caused tricynosis (sp?), the birds have bird flu, seafood has high levels of iodine, the vegetables and fruits are saturated with pesticides, the ground is full of contaminents and feces. The good food is now bad food, fast food is worse....how the heck are we managing to stay alive?

Originally posted by mlpriorNope. I'm like Boby Fischer in that case, I had all the fillings removed 12 years ago. All two of them. 🙂

Remember "Hold your wee for a Wii?". Lady died drinking a couple gallons of water.
