He never offered a solution. He simply made a suggestion.
Edit: Perhaps you are talking about a different thread?
I agree, he's never come out and given a solution... but it seems the only solution would be that users don't pick their own games, and can't play the same person more than a few times.
The problem with his logic is that every piece of evidence offered on the subject had nothing to do with his main concerns of people playing the same person over and over.
He worries about playing the same person over and over and beating them all the time to gain rating points, when the facts show that this isn't true unless the other user is throwing all his games on purpose.
If you and I play 100 games, you are bound to beat me 98 times I would guess... but those 2 times I do win are going to level your rating. You won't even be gaining that much for each win, so the whole situation is a non issue unless for some reason I'm just letting you win.
He also claims he wasn't accusing anyone of doing this, yet he linked to a player at this site who's won all his games against another user. I asked him to prove the player was letting that other player win, and he seems to think that has nothing to do with it. From what I understand about ratings, that has everything to do with it. If it were true, this would be a violation of the rules already established at RHP.
Next he linked to information about gaining a higher rating based on something totally different than his subject. So he wants a solution for a problem that doesn't really even exist, or if it does exist... it has nothing to do with his topic of playing the same user over and over. That is what is frustrating me and some other users about his idea.

Still the a-hole eh? You are never going to change are you. Just because z00t doesn't show people statistical analysis doesn't mean that he's not using it.
I'd trust whatever z00t says way over whatever comes out of your mouth.
And trust this, z00t has no idea what he is talking about and is attempting to show that playing another player multiple times (in true games) is the same as playing yourself again and again to get a 3000 rating.
