@the-gravedigger saidAnd what a hand it was, Maradona the doped up legend.
We got knocked out of the world cup by the hand of God
@roma45 saidNope - not what happened at all.
Let's see the spin the media do
Cheating diving scum.
No other way to say it.
Embarrassing to celebrate that
The center was right there.
Maybe some sort of agenda here? Something simmering (festering?) long before this game started?
@great-big-stees said7.9 billion people in the world. One person's job to answer that question. Luckily he was standing right there and is experienced and trained. He said yes. There was a foul.
Was Sterling really fouled?🤔
Was he right? Well we will debate that for generations.
It should be a great final.
@great-big-stees saidWell, if the Danish defender, who had been beaten by Sterling's pace and agility, and who was not moving instead towards the ball at all but was moving towards the striker at right angles to the ball, if he hadn't barged Sterling with his hip, full contact, [when no contact was the wise choice, with the aforementioned ball being elsewhere, as it were], in a heavy-legged, run-ragged, slightly cart horse like way, THEN it would NOT have been a foul.
Was Sterling really fouled?🤔
This was clearly an “up a level” game for England and it was fairly well matched in the first half with the Danes probably edging it on possession and threat, certainly up to 30 mins when they scored. England equalised and the OG from the Danish defender merely prevented Sterling from claiming it, there should be no blame attached to his crunching slide-in.
However the Dane’s notably sagged in energy from about 60 minutes and the non-tactical three-sub change by the Dane’s manager said it all. That gave them a little boost in midfield but ostensibly they increasingly sat back as England increasingly turned the screw.
After the penalty the Dane’s rarely looked threatening but when they did they certainly did. Pleasingly England piled on the pressure right to the end, pinning the the Dane’s back as they looked for their third goal. Terrific game. Well played by both teams.
England v Italy in the final at Wembley on Sunday.
England’s first major final in 55 years.
@great-big-stees saidThere were only two rows of seats further from the incident than mine, but I would say with certainty that Sir Raheem was violently assaulted. Possibly with a weapon.
Was Sterling really fouled?🤔
@divegeester saidDid you use all your bribe money on the ref so be a while before you can get members banned from RHP?

Olympic gold medal of a dive.
Plus two balls on the pitch at time of the dive. Game should have been stopped. Ref stopped game later in the match when two balls came on..
I want to emphasise I am joking about you bribing RHP.
But as for the ref..if it was the other way about he would be hiding in the north pole by now...
Enjoy Sunday.
Hope you kept money for the ref
😄😄😄😄
@blood-on-the-tracks saidSour grapes?
We will celebrate that
Get in, Harry!!
Take the sour grapes to Glasgee!
You are a lovable rogue!
Is there any other type?
