the neo-hippie/ecology/anti-globalism/socialism/vegetarian scene is pretty big, and I don't think that crowd uses internet or even computers that much.

I only joined because ChronicLeaky promised to change his religious beliefs to "Faith Whalism" if I did (well, and because he told me he had posted a story there that he'd like me to read). The writers of every app you add to your profile get every bit of information about you, down to your street address and are treated as friends.
Any photo you post on there is Facebook's to do with as they please.
I use it mostly for looking at photos. When I wish to share photos, I include a heavily watermarked image as the album, with a link to my offline webpage.
