Anyone who had a rating by 1991, whether inactive or not, is listed with that rating. All tournaments after 1991 have cross tables.
Why don't you ask him if he played before 1980? Or ask him what the last tournament he played in was? You won't get an answer.

Well, he wasnt exactly 'let' back in - he made a new account and sneaked in, as do half of the engines in the romania clan, but that is another story...

If this is Darvlaygate, we need some parallels. Darv can be Nixon/Jesus, Russ must be Gerald Ford/Chevy Chase (watch that first step, it's a doozy...😉), but who's playing Deep Throat and G. Gordon Liddy? My vote goes to Fred Willard to play both, but I don't think he plays chess or can use a computer.
