@divegeester saidNo disagreement about that. Just about Toronto Maple leaves as I said they beat Montreal in 1967.
The England football team haven’t won any trophies since 1966.

@very-rusty saidOh sorry, I thought you said: “only the English football/soccer team has won more Championships than the the Toronto Maple leaf's since 1967.”

@divegeester saidNP....I know very little about English football. I was young enough to remember that happening in 1967 I watched the series back when there were only 6 NHL teams I believe, as I know how old I was. You have far more knowledge about English Football though.

EDIT: I believe that was the same year they added 6 more teams to make it 12, now they over 30. One time I knew all the players, not anymore.

@divegeester saidI know but very loyal fans is the point I was making. I seem to always compare to Hockey, the Toronto Maples Leaf's are in the same position.
Enough to know we haven’t won anything in a LONG time.
This year they could have finished off the Stanley Cup Champs and could have closed it in game 6 and didn't. Went to game 7 and they lost another one, yet their fans remain loyal.
It was just the 1st round 3 more to go for the Cup, which hard to win.

So I said, the England soccer team hasn’t won any trophies since 1966.
