I'm holding my head up, taking a drag, breathing deeply, exhaling, tasting food the way it always tastes, delicious, flicking off some ash, and feeling negative about the world around me because I don't subscribe to your ridiculous nonsense. What's next? Are you going to tell me that I can't smell?
I don't know if you can smell or not, but my suggestion to Seitse was that he take a positive approach and use his mental toughness to help him defeat an insidious enemy. He asked for help in quitting, not for advice on how to surrender. My "ridiculous nonsense" helped me to stop smoking after 30 years, and my lungs and my outlook are a hell of a lot better than yours.

No, no, mate! Don't go! I want to gore as well!

(seriously) I need an argument to tell my brain 🙁
Gum can be a horrible way to go. If you have to choose between one or two cigs per day, or no cigs plus gum... choose cigs every time.
If you require any further tips/advice etc, please feel free to pm me.
You have achieved the hardest part...ie choosing to give up... now carry it out. Stop being weak and selfish. So there. Best wishes... you will succeed.

I gave up 24 days ago and so far, so good. No patches, no gum nothing.

I recommend having a child, it seems to have kicked the habit for me.

I like to smoke 3 at a time... I lit them all with the one I had been smoking 6 minutes earlier.

Your presumption that your lungs are better than mine is completely out of line. You smoked for THIRTY YEARS. That makes your lungs pretty old, and pretty smoky. I've smoked for six years, I'm 28. I'm pretty sure my lungs are a hell of a lot better than yours.

Secondly, your outlook is warped. My outlook is clearly better than yours, and until you prove otherwise then I am the King of Everything.

Have you managed to quit all the sodomy too?

WHat's the difference between chewing gum and patches?
TASTE!

Now why would I want to go and do a silly thing like that?

Hahahaha!!

But, if you smoke three at a time, you would light them with the three, or with one of the three, smoked 6 minutes earlier. Right?

Which is stinkier, smoking or sodomy?

Smoking by far. Besides, we're using the biblical terminology, not the colloquial one.

And biblically, "smoking" means what?

Yes you are. Make sure they put that on your tombstone.

Well, actually, it would be, "I was king of everything."
