How does my concern for fair treatment of prisoners get in the way of my having sympathy for victims of a terrorist attack that is not necessarily even related to the prisoners?

There is no evidence that the Iraqi government and people lent support to that attack. Religiously speaking, Muslims exhibit as much religious variety as Christians. Those responsible for the terrosist attacks were very different religiously from most Muslims, and certainly from the Iraqi government, which was secular. Again, get your facts straight. As for hate for the USA, why should that be grounds for violence? Don't non-americans have a right to their opinions (not necessarily action on them)? Or is bbarr right; are you simply a bigot?
