You could also 'adopt' a family who lives 'close-by'. Busy mothers surely appreciate any help with the cooking, and of anybody, they might fully appreciate the effort.

Add some cookies once in a while and you could get the kids on-board as well. 🙂

You could also go through your church to see if they have a list of needy families to help. If your excess can go to a child who wouldn't have had dinner without your help, so much the better.

Have these suggestions made a difference in the situation described during the past seven weeks
or are your 'cleaning lady and handyman' still making a weekly haul? How is mr. ale's appetite?
