I still draw stick figures now 🙁 and not very good ones.
Her father is very talented and his sister went to art school up here where they still use much of her work as examples in the art course at the college now. I have a few cousins that are now graphic designers and such too. So she had a good chance at inheriting some talent. But every since she was old enough to hold a crayon all she really ever does is spend hours upon hours drawing. Makes me kind of glad I never really gave her heck for drawing on the walls as a baby. 😛

This one is cute: http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e309/MokkoP/TillyScan243.jpg

Note:
'Fine but don't expect me to pertect you'

My thoughts are that you make sure that she doesn't just focus on her artwork, I mean, spelling, grammar...
But you'd expect that from someone who is 11 now wouldn't you? Well, I don't know, you see my point though?

Her spelling is comlpetely horrible 😞 She puts too much time and attention into her drawing and not so much her spelling. But it makes for a really good laugh sometimes the things she writes. 😛

She's much better in her school work where she has to take the time to do it right or lose marks.

Your daughter dares to take on less conventional compositions for an 11 year old (very encouraging) 🙂. Like the kid on the skateboard. And the cool thing is, she has years and years of practice ahead to get everything just right and maybe make it her study and means of earning. 🙂

Good at making up stories. I can see which parent she gets that from.

Well her first words were "I want to be an artist". It's really great to watch her grow and develope new techniques. It does however have a down side as you should see the pictures she draws when she gets really mad at her sister. 😲
I try to stay on her good side 😉

I know what the sister must go through... My artistic brother used to vent his anger that way too 🙁.

I just punched him back then 😀.

There's nothing made up in the fact that I really don't like you. Your infantile behaviour is wearing rather thin. But feel free to carry on. It's not like you or your ridiculous opinions mean anything to me.

But also think of the powerful image - could make a fortune from the arty-farty folk in their galleries and studios 🙂

LOL! That's pretty much what the little slugger does too. The thing is the younger one is very competitive and puts a lot of time into outdoing her older sister. She is certainly very talented in her own right...even if it's out of spite and not passion.

The younger one actually has more of a talent for the writing part. I think they may just grow into a very succesfull team one day. 🙂
