@yo-its-me saidCongratulations, always good to repair things with family!
Yes, I buried the hatchet with my brother and we moved forward. Very glad we did that. It was in our early 20s after a childhood of fighting.
A very important thing to do for health IMO.
But when the other party isn't of the same mindset, it's near impossible. I don't want to say impossible because I hope I can forgive. And I wish I could forgive; a person who is not ...[text shortened]... very hard thing to do. Kudos to anyone who manages that, truly. I've worked on it for a decade now.

@great-big-stees saidI know you are not a fan of DIY Stees, but burying tools is a little extreme.
Anyone done it and not in someone’s body?
I’ve done a few times, in “real” life as well as elsewhere.

@relentless-red saidMaybe in your books but I buried all my tools long ago when I realized that there was a thing you could use to get in touch with people who knew what they were doing...I believe it called a telephone.🤔☎️

@great-big-stees saidTelephones are fine - only problem with the modern phones is that they are given a priority which is both a blessing and a curse.

@torunn saidI went out for lunch today and when the waiter handed me the menu he told me I had to photograph a sticker on the menu and then order what I wanted from my tellingbone. I told him I didn't have my tellingbone with me. While he was standing there in a state of shock I got up and walked out. Unfortunately this meant that upon returning home I had to cook my own lunch.

I hope The Tavern does not introduce such a system.

@The-Gravedigger
I had a similar experience, except they still had menus on hand for people like me.
@great-big-stees saidForgive? Or learn to trust again?

Absolutely - and never.
