I also have my hands full with the little angels during the day. I started out with 27 and am down to 23. Approximately 2/3 have parents who don't speak English or only know a little, so if I telephone them I need a translator. I sort of hold my own in person, though, between their amount of English and my amount of Spanish. However, I'm following the lead of one of the other teachers -- make the kid call home and explain to his/her parents what he/she did that was so heinous that it warranted a phone call. This quarter is better than last quarter, though. My reading group isn't the sociopaths this time, which is nice.

Historical trend: On election day, the American people cast more votes for one lying politician than they did for another lying politician. The former will replace yet another lying politician and will sit as figurehead of a fake democratic republic for yet another four years.
Then we'll all come back and do it again in 2012...
