Thank you Michael and Prad for giving me the respect that I deserve. Some people have no sense of humor. 😉 Kirk

well, the heat is on. Tebb and Dantes are playing head to head in the Losing is also an art vs Bad bishops clan match. Could get exiting. I hope Tebb wins (of course, he's my teammate, but Dantes is a great guy too) but also because a loss by Dantes would show that he's also a mere mortal, just like 'us'.
Go Tebb.

I expect by the time most people read this post, Edmond Dantes will have already overtaken me. So congratulations in advance, Edmond! I've been at the Number 1 spot for just over a year, which is much longer than I could have hoped for.
Edmond is obviously a great player. How he managed to take part in 3 Grand tournaments with 1 day time-outs over Christmas and the New Year, play over 150 games simultaneously, and win them all, is frankly astonishing 😲 I take my hat off to the guy!

Having looked at the tables, I take my hat off to all of you, the "Superpowers" of RHP.
As you rightly said, anyone who can play 3 1 day timeout tournaments simultaneously and romp through them with relative ease (didnt notice many, if any time outs), deserves our respect.
Keep up the good work guys, the rest of us can only dream of reaching such heights!!

I messaged Edmond Dantes to see if I could scrounged some tips and advice from him, as well as congratulate him on his rise to RHP fame. I found him very accomodating and he was very modest with regard to his record and current rating.
A True Gent!
The records of all the top ten deserve a round of applause! 😵

Okay, okay, I cannot tell a lie- I was having a personal conversation with myself....😲🙄
personally i thought your earlier post was very deep and profound in it's zenlike simplicity. looks like you started a trend too, if flexmore's post is any indication 😀

I've no doubt that Edmond will become number one in the very near future. Keeping yourself there at number one is a hard slog. You lose rating points with every game that you draw, and even wins against strong players only net you very small numbers of rating points. So plaudits are due to Dave Tebb also, it's taken him great strength of mind and concentration to stay there for 12 months and continue to improve his rating. (Maybe you can do something about your OTB rating now Dave !)
