@very-rusty saidI find that to be a weird aspect of your culture ... you want people to congratulate you on beating an alcohol addiction. What the hell for?
You are bringing up drinking to a Man who hasn't touched it in close to 32 years!
Why? Is it to try and embarrass me about my addiction to alcohol 32 years ago?
Is it to become closer to your TWIN friends? What is your reasoning for bringing it up to begin with?
You actually should be congratulating me in beating my addiction instead of making fun of it. Do you not realize that many people have addiction problems some on this very site?

Its a stupid thing to become an alcoholic in the first place. You should really be keeping that a private matter. Thats another weird thing ... boasting of your problems and wanting people to pat you on the back.
Seriousuly you people need to be a bit more humble.
@rajk999 saidYou are certainly entitled to your opinion.

We don't hide things where I live, we talk about them and try to help others.
What you do is completely your business. ( Sweep it under the rug if you wish. )
I thought you were much smarter than to make a statement like you did. I guess I over estimated you.

@very-rusty saidYour society encourages addiction of all types and people get rich from that.... food alcohol drugs sex etc. Then another batch of people get rich from curing these addicts. Then people post up online about how they beat an addiction ... big deal .

Almost nothing in your society is normal anymore .. thats my point.. hope you got it.
@rajk999 saidIn our screwed up culture a serial killer who had stopped killing people would get folks patting him on the back. Then we would find a way to make him the victim.

Nobody suffers in silence anymore.
@the-gravedigger saidPerhaps in your culture, not in mine. We pat people on the back who have beaten addictions, unless you think a serial killer is an addiction. It kind of shows me where you mind goes though. Explains a lot about the people you hang with and try to back up. 🙂 😛

@rajk999 saidPerhaps we need to go to Trinidad and Tobago to get re-educated on how to do things correctly. 🙂

@the-gravedigger saidYeah .. it was the parents fault, abused as a kid. Or the govt fault, no social services... Blame everyone but themselves.

@very-rusty saidMany serial killers once captured say they were addicted to killing.

@very-rusty saidNo need to. You already know how to do things correctly. You just dont care to.

@rajk999 saidWell I quit an addiction 32 years ago, so I am going to pat myself on the back and not concern myself about what you think. I thought you were a much brighter person, sorry for over estimating you I guess would be the best way to put it. Maybe you are just trying to get involved in the conversation or think your culture is much better than any where else in the world.
No need to. You already know how to do things correctly. You just dont care to.

@the-gravedigger saidShow me quotes by serial killers who said that t-g! 🙂 😛
Many serial killers once captured say they were addicted to killing.
Was that their Defense? 🙂

@very-rusty saidNo, they were already serving life imprisonment by that time.

Addiction to drugs or alcohol or killing is not a defence.

@the-gravedigger saidSo, you believe them after they have been convicted that thet did it because of drugs or alcohol? Come on, you can come up with something better than that. Why not use it as a defense. I can tell you because the lawyer wouldn't allow them to use it.
No, they were already serving life imprisonment by that time.

I may believe being abused as a child could turn them into serial killers, wanting to hurt people as they were hurt when they couldn't defend themselves.
Drugs or Alcohol is not an excuse for doing anything including mouthing off in the forums! Get my drift? 🙂

@the-gravedigger saidNot even a little bit, but I think you are having way too much Vodka!!! 😛 🙄
You are getting confused. 🙄
