Working one's way through a list of people you want to meet for a beer, a coffee, or a meal ~ and proper one-on-one conversations sounds like a far better bet than the unpredictable chemistry and substance of a disparate throng.

I’m well aware that Torunn is (a bit like Ponderable) regarded as a sort of golden calf of bland niceness, and that my questioning her about some of her nonsensical and abjectly false assertions is a red rag to posters like yourself who are in lock-stepped loyalty to her, but I do it anyway. I enjoy the flack it draws.

Targeting genuinely nice and honest people here, and viewing them as bland, is yet another example of you being a terrible judge of character.

I don’t “target” anyone any more or any less than you do. Furthermore this is a public forum and each of us is no more or mono less than what we post. All posts made are therefore fair game for replies, questions and scrutiny.
