I went to university for 4 years. I found that much of what they wanted me to do was not for me.

Like some others for sure. I too changed “course” afterwards, from science to accounting and again though some 30 odd years later to sales…something, as it turned out was where I really wanted to be. Hindsight is most often 20/20.😁
