I hope @Ghost is okay

We probably still have some differences and (not just because I am descended from both Percherons AND the Irish) I am unlikely to kowtow to his demands or conform to his will (whether or not he is really a site moderator, as he has seemed to like to pretend),

But I have this bad feeling that my having called @Ghost an "overheated vapour" might have driven him into the seclusion of his private club (despite my humorous intent),

And if that is so, then I would and do feel some regret about that, while being well aware that updating that epithet to something like "incandescent plume" or "shimmering phantasm" might seem insincere, mocking, and disrespectful rather than conciliatory,

Therefore, I'll say plainly that I regret the rift that has occurred between us, and that is all.

Not trying to get back into The Ghost Chamber (although I do wonder what @Roma might have been up to) -- just trying to heal a rift, to whatever extent is possible given our differences.
