Borat is one of the most witty, intelligent, politically incorrect comedies to come out on the big screen for a long time.

It's just not surprising to see that just because it was a huge commercial success, some pseudo-intellectuals can help themselves and slate it. Sad, really.

Or maybe it's just that not all people have the same sense of humour. I actually expected to find it funny (and witty and intelligent) because of what I had heard about it, but for the most part I didn't. That certainly didn't have anything to do with the fact that it was a huge commercial success. It's just not the kind of humour I appreciate.

I don’t understand…rented it. It didn’t play so took it back. The guy said it was “smudged” & cleaned it up and it worked fine at the video store. Got it home & it wouldn’t play. Took it back and exchanged it. That one wouldn’t play either, so I gave up on it. So last week my wife purchased it used at a different video store and guess what? It didn’t play. Is their something on it I’m not supposed to watch?
