I've decided not to leave the planet on a Klingon Bird-of-Prey, having overindulged in blood wine and not being in favour with the Klingon custom of head-butting. Instead I have thumbed a lift with a Vulcan Combat Cruiser and have brushed up on my attempts to live solely by logic.

Farewell Earthlings. I have managed to hitchhike a lift on a Klingon Bird-of-Prey and am currently partaking in the pre-departure ritual of drinking blood wine and attending a Klingon opera (Kahless the Unforgettable).
I plan to return on the 3rd October 2276. (Around tea time).
