If you are not capable of understanding a picture of a black man in chains from a book of fiction that tells us the story about slavery in an educational manner then I will pray for you.
I feelsorry that you are not capable to understand that this world is still not free of many types and forms of slavery. I feel sorry that you interpreted a picture from ...[text shortened]... as you have and not mine for showing the picture of a slave in chain for the reasons that I do.
Whether you pray for me or not, I respect that. π
I do understand this world is not free of many types of slavery. The world would never be free of it.
If you're going to feel sorry for me....please do, in fact, pray for me, I'm a black woman who chain smokesπ ....oh! the irony! ... a black woman, who finds a pic of a black man in chains, offensive, that a white man chose to have in his avatar....and a white man praying for a black woman who chain smokes...
I have made no mistake in interpreting the pic, the way I see it. You can say what you think, please know I understand that.

Those comments had nothing to do with the BWA modus operandi. I don't their MO makes them racists because I truly think they don't intend it to be racist. However, I can see how some people might feel offended at this and would prefer if they dropped it.

What exactly would calling an Arab a sand ____not have anything to do with the BWA modus of operation.
If always been told the best way to find out someones true beliefs is to see them when the spotlight isn't on them and they believe camera's are turned off.
If they look like a duck and quack like a duck...chances are they are a duck. Having said that, I do agree that we need to get away from lumping everyone into the same mold because of clan or club affiliation. That is wrong. I've been guilty and while I am not perfect I am going to try to stop that.

Believe it, it's true. I would have busted the head of any forum member including Red's had it been allowed. It wasn't. As you can see Red is still here and not bleeding.
I allow people to say whatever they want just like you have the right to respond however you want. Racist, sexist, ageist, etc. I don't care. I believe in allowing you to retort by using your mind, not censorship.

I've not seen you. I have no desire to see you. I don't know the colour of your skin, should I?
"a black woman, who finds a pic of a black man in chains, offensive, that a white man chose to have in his avatar"
Why does it matter whether a black or a white man has Kunta Kinte as an avatar. Or is there a difference in offensiveness?

I'm stating that the reason you have provided for requesting that someone's expression be censored is irrational.
