Mr. A last had a result in 1993. Interestingly, the ICCF has no rules against engine use.
What organization sanctioned the CC tourney you are referring to? Do you have a link to the tourney and/or organization?

But surely a higher rated player would match up to a engines moves? If they are really at that rate of play, they would be more likely to make moves like a GM...

It's been said many times before: GM's don't match up with Fritz, Jumior, Shredder and the rest 90-100% and they don't play 100 correspondence games which they make moves in every day. Give it a rest.
