I don't know, I think Shav could propose some proper uses of chess pieces as "marital aides"...

He then should be deleted from the player tables.
I congratulate anyone who spent time trying to make this place a bit more fair for all of us.

Now you mention it.
All you need is a marble bishop, lubricant and a digital camera.

According to the ICCF website at http://www.asigc.it/inter/data/ic/names2.htm
Mr. A last had a result in 1993. Interestingly, the ICCF has no rules against engine use.

What organization sanctioned the CC tourney you are referring to? Do you have a link to the tourney and/or organization?

I stand corrected then. My Italian is non-existent, so I can't find the ratings for correspondence play though or if the rules allow engines. It would be interesting to find out.

But surely a higher rated player would match up to a engines moves? If they are really at that rate of play, they would be more likely to make moves like a GM...

It's been said many times before: GM's don't match up with Fritz, Junior, Shredder and the rest 90-100% and they don't play 100 correspondence games which they make moves in every day. Give it a rest.
