Fact of the matter is that fed-ex have paid the VAT themselves, and then tried to pass the charge onto me. The problem I have with this is that they would have known this charge would have been ma ...[text shortened]... no choice. underhand tactics.

Obviously what you wanted was a bunch of people to agree with your already made decision not to pay. Since you started a thread entitled "Legal Help" I thought I might give you some free advice, but you're tooooooooo much of a jerk to accept this gift with some measure of gratitude. Good luck getting anything shipped by Fed Ex again.
