P.M.'s are shared have been in the past. There is really no rule against it, but Russ would sooner the P.M.'s were kept that way and not shared. Of course no personal information can be given out as that would be against the TOS Guidelines.

I have always assumed that the content of a PM (irrespective of what it contained) should not be shared publically without the permission of the sender. That's why it's called a private message.

Of course if there is personal information in it as Gamby pointed out then the person could receive a ban. Russ told me not to put anything in a P.M. or e-mail that I wouldn't want shared. It does have to do with trust, and as I said Russ told me he would rather people didn't repeat what told in a P.M., but not rule against it unless personal info is given out. So one has to be careful what you say in a P.M. as it turns out it may not be one.
