i'd had a very late night on the saturday, and a little too much to drink, so you can imagine my delight at being woken up by a big band outside my house (which, it turns out, is right on the marathon route) blasting out 'pennsylvania six five thousand' at 9am...
still, at least i didn't have to run 26 miles.
