LOL - Actually (sorry in advance) the King fell off the table a little earlier (must have been the booze) and the cross broke off the top (so it looked like a Queen) ... Good to see that James and myself had a little analysis session (whilst being absolutely hammered :-)

Originally posted by PhlabibitLOL ... You should have seen James (the funky mover leader) and myself mulling over some French openings whilst everyone else was doing the same (did I mention that we did that on one board only !!!!!!) ... Great fun
You had your fun... you're just mad you castled your queen...

Originally posted by PhlabibitNew York would be a b1tch to get to if you live on the west coast, and Chicago is too dangerous. Going to New Orleans would be like a visit to Sea World, and in Las Vegas there'd be too many hookers. Acapulco would be a b1tch to get to for our Canadian friends, and Montreal is too far north for members who reside in the Southern U.S. Phoenix sounds like an okay locale, but I recommend Lincoln, Nebraska. It's nice and centralized.
An interesting vote would be 6 or so locations in North America... and see how many votes they get.
New York
Montreal
Chicago
New Orleans
Pheohonickxk
Las Vegas
Acalpoco
???
Everyone votes for the first and second choice.

There should be a huge list of cities... I think there are more RHP users on the east coast than West, so center isn't a great idea in my mind... unless a vote proves otherwise.

If you're serious about this thing, I'd suggest an East Coast meeting and a West Coast Meeting. East Coast would be somewhere fairly central between Montreal, and Florida - maybe Washington, DC. West Coast would be somewhere fairly central like San Francisco, or possibly Denver to pull in folks from midwest as well.
Just my 2 cents....
Originally posted by The PlumberIn that case, I vote for Denver. I live an hour away by driving.

Originally posted by The PlumberI vote for NYC. It is an hour further than Washington, but worth the extra travel. I also know plenty of people I could stay with in New York, and no one that I would want to stay with in DC.
