As if the taste were not enough we are reminded of how
good it is for you by the Google Lucy Wills doodle.

Vegemite's Australian, he's in NZ. We may be close but we're not related.

Marmite is one of the foods of the Gods. I prefer it spread thinly on good quality hot buttered crumpets with a nice pot of loose leaf tea.

One school friend of mine always had marmite sandwiches for morning break which she kindly shared with me. She grew into a tall woman who worked as a lifeguard during the summer and had great teeth. Maybe I should start eating it again as part of my low cholesterol diet 😀

Some like Vegemite in NZ because the local Marmite is $h1t.
We buy British Marmite which is sold here as "Our Mate".

(The original owners of the Marmite brand sold it to
Sanitarium, who then "improved" it whilst still retaining
the name, hence NZ Marmite tastes nothing like UK Marmite)

I like either as long as their in a grated cheddar cheese sandwich. I’ve been known to put it in home made pasta sauces too.

Okay, but let's get real here.

It's just yeast, right?

I wouldn't eat a jar of yeast if you paid me.

And caviar is just fish eggs Cmon suzianne slap it on some bread .
‘To tell you honestly’ I think it began as a marketing exercise for brewing companies to make money out of what was left of the yeast after the brewing process which makes sense because I tend to eat a lot of it after the beer drinking process 🍺
