I remember how my parents and I tried to stifle our chuckling while everybody around us was sobbing during a scene of Dead Poets Society, where one of the boys takes his own life. My sister had told us about that scene, laughing about how pathetic and unrealistic it looked. Maybe I wouldn't have had to laugh if she hadn't told us about it, but on the other hand I found the whole film quite pathetic.

Today I watched Requiem for a Dream and cried like a man.
Check out Pi and The Fountain from the same director (both with soundtracks from Clint Mansell, as well).
I cry like a little girl every time I watch The Fountain, with the exception of the first time. Go figure. Strangely, it's the only film I've ever cried to.

Did you get to see Lilja 4-ever?

The only good part is when that guy jumps of the back and hits the propellor and goes flipping into the water.

I cried during 'There Will Be Blood', because I felt sorry for all the people who thought that was a good movie. It was really boring, and I got absolutedly nothing out of it. There was no moral, there was no ending, I don't even remember there being a plot. The violin music was creepy, and the title was kind of cool, but both had nothing whatsoever to do with the actual movie. Seriously, did anybody like it? I am genuinely curious to know why, because I know a lot of people thought that dude should get some award or something, and I guess I can see that, but what a stupid movie!

Ever sorry sappy sad scene in any movie ever written brings tears. I can usually control them though. It's quite embarrassing. :'(
