When was the last time, Bobby.
Do you call this nonsense giving birth?

"As a tribute to skeeter, innovative blogger and top-rated chess player, we are introducing a brand new
General Forum word game -- The Wheelbarrow Game.
To play, you must respond to the previous post simply by posting the word wheelbarrow. The game
proceeds in the same way, continuously, ad infinitum. In fairness to others, we ask that you refrain
from posting any non-wheelbarrow words (e.g., ennui, intrigue, mashed potatoes).
Our objective is a listing in the Guinness Book of World Records, and to have fun at the same time."

Wow! What a highly successful contribution to this forum. We look forward to your next creative
Guinness Book of World Records thread. The RHP General Forum itself will thank you. -Bob

As I've explained more than once, the 2011 Wheelbarrow Game was launched to distract
skeeter and her band of renegades from disrupting the Word Association Game. There
was no ulterior motive and no agenda other than that. And it worked.

The Wheelbarrow Game was launched in August to distract skeeter from spamming the Word Association Game, a thread popular with a small but devoted group of word fans. Skeeter had threatened to mobilize her minions to post the word wheelbarrow repeatedly in an effort to undermine the WAG thread. In that sense, the Wheelbarrow Game was a success.. but now skeeter is gone. In view of her untimely departure, I thought it would be appropriate to retire the Wheelbarrow Game as well.
If you want to start a new one.. feel free.

Q. Why isn't the tone of this forum as cheerful as it was once upon a time?
