Excellent selection Suzi (although I haven't seen "Defending Your Life" and it doesn't seem my sort of film)

it's absolutely clear once you "get it." there's a "trick" to it . . . . like a not fair device. . . but then, once you have it it's just plain clear

I am jotting a bunch of these down. lol Thanks 🙂

"Les Mis" is worth a few views if for no other reason than to see both Hugh Jackman's and Hathaway's performances. Cannot compare to theater but still pretty admirable 🙂

This is turning into personal "Best Films"

I think films that can be watched "a thousand times" are a particular subset of the "Best"

or in the case of "Under Siege" a trashy action flick that is oddly entertaining everytime I see it!

I included it mainly because I love Meryl Streep's character, she seems like a perfect girlfriend character (absolutely joyful at the selections in the restaurants) and Albert Brooks is the perfect "opposites attract" kind of character for her. A nice "feel good" rom-com, like The Goodbye Girl and Roxanne, although Roxanne has the added viewability of Steve Martin... I giggle all the way thru Roxanne, no matter how many times I see it.

And yes, I understand this is a "Movies you can watch 1000 times" and not just a selection of "best" or favorite, that's exactly why I chose those on my list.

(Oooooooh, another one to add to my list... "Turner & Hooch".)

If this was "Movies you have watched 1000 times", all the people with daughters would have a list like this.

Entrapment is awesome, very interesting pairing in Connery and Zeta-Jones, but I love "heist" movies. Ocean's Eleven is another good one.

In that genre, I recommend "Now You See Me" (2013).
