My Birthday!

I was only stirring when I made that post yesterday, lol. Still, it's good to see all those opinions! Like, I didn't really think that knapster was gonna go out shooting stray cats or anything. And I'm sure him getting a gun is totally fine.

I can't remember what I got for MY fifteenth birthday actually. Probably chess books or something, lol. LP's maybe. Didn't have CD's back then. I've only held a real gun once. A guy I tutor maths is a keen shooter, in a club. He's 15 too, 😉. He showed it to me, and I picked it up, and thought "oh yeah, nice one".

But they're not common here for sure. Dunno if that means anything. If our fifteen year olds want to get reckless, then cars are their weapons of choice, as someone else alluded to. I'm betting our rural teens would hunt a bit though. City boys like me aren't much into killing anything I guess. I like the idea of hitting a target though, but I prefer a game of darts.

So then, sorry if I offended any sensitive types. Nah, actually, that's a LIE. I love to do that, heh heh. But Happy Birthday Knapster, and enjoy the gun. And be careful, and all that common sense stuff.

Oh, and one more point. I could have read it wrong, but I seem ot recall someone suggesting something along the lines of my possibly expressing sentiments that were "Anti American". It seems to be that there are a lot of views coming from America, and they're not all congruent. I think that you can disagree with a point of view without being against a whole nation. I never did buy this "you're with us or you're against us" stuff. Americans are people like everyone else I ever met. I don't agree with or understand everything they do, but that's true of all people in all countries. And like everybody else, I like them pretty much, 😉.

First of all, my dad gave me the gun. Second of all, I won't be using it on people. I do consider myself proficient at the use of guns. I don't consider it as a toy as someone referred to my gun.
