You don't need a kalashnikov [or whatever] to protect yourself in your own home - as mentioned already a baseball bat will suffice.
Contrary to popular [American] belief guns don't make you more macho. 😏
We don't actually care too much if you want to shoot each other; it just seems rather sad..or something.
