I'll try again without the most excellent introduction and epilogue cos I'd feel like a spazwit trying to recreate the spontaneity that the first telling of the joke produced.
I've also tried to make the post more mod friendly by descrambling the obscured letters and introducing some quaint irish vocab into the punchline.

You have a poor relationship, bored, not getting on whatever. Have some kids, great! Kids come along, make things interesting for a while. You can focus on kids instead of each other for a few years. After the novelty of kids gets routine, you are back where you were at the beginning. Only now you've got kids. What do you do? Have more kids? Or split up and mess up those kids for the future?
After the novelty of kids gets routine.... Kids are something amazing!They have saved many families.... people get bored with each other but then when they have a kid laugh in the house they have something in common, they have now something to care about together - they join their efforts. I am not telling that it will work with Nick... but it has worked with many families...
Also Varg, relationships in families are different in various cultures... in some countries family is something holy and so are kids and break up is something really unwelcomed... in other coutries people tend to get married 4-5 times during the lifetime... Your criticism of my post shows that you are thinking only based what you have heard from your neighbours or friends... get out of the box - think big!

Who cares what they do in other cultures? Surely what they do in Nicholaas' culture is important. You can't just say "oh well in Japan they do this, so we'll disregard our ingrained upbringing and be Japanese for the rest of our lives".

I have made up my mind, and i am going to break up the marraige. This is hard for me to do, but the sooner the better.
You know, I have thought about cheating on her too, but then i realised, that i am not into this cheating thing. I am not a fool, a two face. I wanted to do it to hurt her too. BADLY.
But, i dont beleive in childish cheating, so here i am...
