I also didn't call what happened an "NDE" in the classic sense. Just a close call, as in most of these posts.
I haven't called anyone's near death experience an "NDE in the classic sense".

Ever had any? If so, did they change you in any way?
In 1979, on the road from some from some famous caves into Ljubljana in what used to be called Yugoslavia, our family car had a blowout at 60 mph and smashed into a cliff and was instantly turned into a hideous upside down wreck that looked like people MUST have died in it, and yet four people walked away from it with just scratches and bruises and two broken wrists.

But didn't you say: "Yes, and no, I'm not talking about them [NDEs]. (Wink to Gambrel.) Blame mr. little d"?

It wasn't a demon it was me in a bad mood and I was chasing you.

Surely you mean a "near death experience" where they felt as if they left their bodies... like people do in dreams all the time?

But, to be clear, we are talking about a perceived "experience" and not an actual physical experience.

We are talking about a form of hallucination and not an event during which someone's faculties were temporarily located in a place other than their brain [and body], right?

If you had one or astral traveled you'd know it isn't a dream

If I'd had an hallucination about engaging in "astral travel", I don't think it would be evidence that I'd "astral travelled".

You call it an hallucination because you don't understand it.

I call it an hallucination because I DO understand it.
