That's pretty weird music man!
Well done! It reminds me of the 80's for some reason.
Now all this machinery is digital. Lots of samples at hand.
Gone are the times when we have to make this kind of sound using analog machinery... :'(

Originally posted by CenterNutFor my "personal" use, I have a Roland JP 8000. Excellent keyboard, a digital emulation of the old analog machines.

But most of the music I humble compose (only for my own pleasure), requires acoustic sounds, so, I use my old faithful Kawai K11.
But to be sincere, I prefer for the GM sounds, the VSC 3 or the Yamaha Sondius (sp?) soft synths.
I love Acid, but it doesn't suit my personal requirements to compose, me being a "classical", no "loop oriented" composer.
Anyway, CenterNut, nice work from you.
go ahead!

I like the song, not the music it's self (Techno, House, Trance, what ever you call it). I understand what it takes to make a song like this. I will admit, I really like it... but I do hate the 'synth' that comes in around 1:24.
Ruins it... Great song, great work... but I hate the synth thing.

Its way too simple to replace the patch (or sample).
That metal pad synth sound doesn't appeal me too. But it is the prerrogative of the composer to use any sound he wants. This is an important part of his own work. 🙂
Cheers!

I don't know. There are some people in this forum that tend to prefer patronizing lies to honesty.
I prefer honesty, so I think I'm not reading a lot of your posts, pal...
You have demonstrated us a broad repertory of sarcasm. so why we should be reading your posts?
Show me you have a point, a real one on this thread, and I'm well disposed to argue with you about your point (if you have one).
Cheers!

I'm quite honest in my life, it's one of the things I praise the most.
You should also note that I never attack anyone being mobbed by other posters or that I use sarcasm when I feel it is not warranted. If you view my posts as dishonesty I can only presume it's a form of cognitive dissonance.

If he has an argument to oppose something already posted in this thread, he can post it just now and here.
But he is touching the theme of "honesty" just here, a thread that has nothing to do except with a aesthetic (sp?) feel about a nice song composed by a member of the community.
I really hate sarcasm, when the thread isn't calling out for it.
Please, shut your fat a** if you don't have anything intelligent to say in this thread. I'm sure you haven't, of course.
