Treading on dangerous ground: Isn't an invention expected to be new anyway? So is new invention an Pleonasm?

i think Grampy has an eye for Aussie sheilas. and obviously, these grand old dames remember the good ole days of WW2, when US troops were "over-paid, over-sexed, and over here".😛

heck, they probably remember WW1 and the Boer War too.

wow, and what about User 329991? yet another Aussie sheila.😲

Geez Grampy, leave some chicks for the local guys.

Astute point, Ponderable. Tempted to quote Rain Bojangles' “It is better to be redundant

than remiss” but will resist it in the interest of accepting the verdict of 'guilty as charged'.

RHP Member asked me on the phone last night what the ------------------------- line appearing at the bottom of my recent general forum posts meant. Told her it's a new internet bulletin board invention developed at Seniorsville, USA (for the aged, intellectually challenged and infirm). Yes, it's called the 'Zip Your Lip ...[text shortened]... ding sentence you're of a mind to post. -gb

GB it was not about being guilty. And indeed being redundant is good in many cases, but since I was obliged to file patent applications I am a bit particular here.

Thanks, Andy, for chiming in to energize the conversation. You're still okay in my book, no matter what fair weather friends may

think or say behind the scenes. By the way, whatever fate befell your new BFFL, Duecer, since the meet-up at Phlab's home?

Postscript: Categorically wrong once again, Andy. Using both. More nuanced = .......... . Emphatic = --------- . Then there's --->

Hi, Elamef37. How you been doing? Doubt these gentlemen will even notice, much less

reply, to your post. What I wonder about is Pastor Duecer. Son of a gun, miss the guy.

By the way, you still seem to be obsessed with our New England meet-up.
Need I remind you that you were invited to join us but you chose not to attend?
