Surely you were there and had them, and need no verification of yourself? Any more than I need to ask you to confirm that in my youth, I saw a lot of mullets, even if I didn't have one myself.

Yes, of course. Platform shoes (for guys as well), plaid flaired pants with cuffs. Pant suits. It was an era of creative apparel for the masses. For a couple of years in high school, we dressed as if we were about to dance on Soul Train.

The death of the 70s was certainly a notable death.
