The post that was quoted here has been removedI didn't ignore the word "everyone". You and I disagree about what belongs on this thread, that's all. What constitues a "notable death" is in the eye of the beholder. You and I behold it differently. We disagree, that's all.
The post that was quoted here has been removedI haven't "failed to comprehend" anything. Nor am I "distorting" anything. Nor am I being "dishonest". You were very explicit when you declared that this thread should, in your view, be about "mentioning the passing of people who had NOTABLE LIVES BEFORE THEY DIED." Your capitalization, not mine. It's still there. People can read it. You and I disagree about what "notable death" means, that's all.
@handyandy saidThis gets a "Penny Black"-rare thumbs up from me. I laughed.
His anthology of poems and essays, Those Who From Afar Look Like Flies, might possibly provide insights into the topic at hand.
@handyandy saidAndy, This is something else we agree on.
Some notable people are good, admired, and loved... and some are not.
Still makes them notable people whether we agree or not.
