The post that was quoted here has been removedMost of the deaths I become aware of I know about because of the internet or thanks to news apps on my phone.
I recently commemorated the death of my uncle after hearing about it in a phonecall.
And the people who died of covid in the residential block behind my house, I heard about it by word of mouth, although I am told it made the national news here.
So, no; it's not always the internet that's my source.

We usually don't get annoyed with posts we don't agree with. What we do mind though is if we get too much off topic, which we are now.

if kevin clark is not well known to imbd, but HAS been trending for the last two days on twitter (only one metric for determining popularity or interest) is this sufficient evidence of notability?
the measurement of a person's popularity, or notability, is quite sloppy
all manner of weight is given to a human being's persona
on my own personal note
as i attempt shed persona from my persona
it remains
EDIT:
to trend on the twitter is not an easy task
to do so for nearly 48 hours IS an indication of "not obscurity"
i once trended on twitter for 28 seconds by licking a bottle cap
