whats with the mad cow disease? i thought that this thread was entitled 'the war has started'!
no i don't think that bush is liberating iraq. its called PR. the original reason was to forcefully disarm saddam of his 'weapons of mass destruction' but seeing as they haven't found any.......
I agree with you that the war has nothing to do with "helping" the poor denizens of Iraq.
Originally posted by bezYea, now that they havent found any its about liberating the people of iraq. But mighty way to liberate i tell you. I wish no body will ever liberate me from anything in a manner bush liberates.

And we all know what this is all about. the oil. no matter how you want to hide it...
he was elected because there was a lot of ignorant people... because he had money and rish people backing him up. from those that voted a little less than half voted for him. And there were many that don't like him at all... But thats all politics and complicated in itself.
About Iraq... You honestly say that killing innocent people is good for them? Destroying their homes and land is good for them?
Best scenario would be democratic government set up which is not just a puppet of the west (rather unlikely). Even so, because of the distinct ethnic groups there, not everyone will be happy especially the Kurds.
Worst scenario, arab nations boil over, all get involved, Israel dives in, mass war in middle east, Egypt follows, America, of course aid Israel...World War III, the sequel, coming soon.
