@shallow-blue saidTheoretically, no "string" is used in the String Theory...or is there? 🤔
An un-knot, though, is, surprisingly enough.
If you want to make a name for yourself in a scantily explored field of maths, try knot theory. It's beyond me, but it does have a lot of open questions.

@great-big-stees saidYou had to see this coming! 😉
Theoretically, no "string" is used in the String Theory...or is there? 🤔
All objects in our universe are composed of vibrating filaments (strings) and membranes (branes) of energy. String theory attempts to reconcile general relativity (gravity) with quantum physics. A new connection (called supersymmetry) exists between two fundamentally different types of particles, bosons and fermions.

@wolfgang59 saidI don't believe wg59 would be a threat to anyone! 😉
Wolves are a threat to livestock. We are NOT.

@petewxyz saidI will disagree with you on that one!
White skin is not white and black skin is not black.
Albino I don't think you could find anyone more white. Jamaican.....I know a Jamaican man we have been friends for years and he calls himself black not brown.
He put his arm next to mine and said what colours do you see? I had to admit black and white.
I assume you must have a good retort or you wouldn't have said it to begin with.

@very-rusty saidIt's just a medical fact VR the same pigment is present just in different concentrations. Pass your hand over a sheet of black paper and then over a sheet of white paper, it won't match either regardless of what your skin colour may have been named.

Edit: since you mention it the albino skin will be ever so slightly pink due to the presence of blood.
Further edit: I completely respect people's right to call themselves whatever they wish, I am talking about the skin, not the person.

@petewxyz saidWell when I had my arm next to his mine looked very white compared to his dark skin which "HE" calls black!

When you look at a white person do you see a white person?
When you look at a black person do you see a black person?
I do realize some look more brown than black, but the Jamaican man's skin did look black to me.
I think you may be pulling hairs here!

@ghost-of-a-duke saidDid you know raining cats and dogs meaning?
It has never rained cats and dogs. (Even if you have stepped in a poodle).
“Cats and dogs” may come from the Greek expression cata doxa, which means “contrary to experience or belief.” If it is raining cats and dogs, it is raining unusually or unbelievably hard. ... A false theory stated that cats and dogs used to cuddle into thatch roofs during storms and then be washed out during heavy rains.
You're welcome! 😉
