Kids must ask for help in the right manner - this should apply whether you are a chav or whether you are Gadaffi's kids. Perhaps we should make exceptions for spoilt brats then?

But this isn't a linux forum - only you seem to have taken offence. I turned on my Windows box at 10:00am this morning to copy all of my files off my hard drive onto my USB hard drive so I can swap over to my Linux box. Been out, watched the game, got pissed, come home had me tea and cracked two more cans and it is still copying the files over. It's only 50 GB and I'm still waiting. 😕
As soon as it is done I will be shutting down and swapping over to try it out.
USB 1.0; Bloody 'ell. 🙂

Success with Linux requires complete focus and copious amounts of tea, you are best going for a fair trade tea with the kettle being stopped before full boil, the use of acid as a sweetener makes a nice touch I think.
After that you need to make sure that your hardware is supported and that your expectations are correct.
Understanding a Nux*** package manager while trying to make comparisons with Windows is like walking around Currys and getting sexually aroused, it could work but is not healthy or right (and would appear to offend the female staff so the shop manager says).
Ubuntu is your best bet because it is supported by Homosexual, Heterosexual communities and ALL Alien races.
