I work nights, so for years I've been up all night and sleeping during the day. Right now I go to bed about 10am and get up for work about 6pm. On the weekend, I sleep when I get home to about noon, then I stay up most of the night and do the same on Sunday. Monday I'll stay up until 10am and get back to my schedule that way.

I think her red thumb was the result of being a prolific hat dropper.

i waken during the night all the time. memories arrive.

i think this is what hell will be for me. lying in the dark going over my memories without any returning sleep.

there was a mexican author who wrote a book which in english reads "change of skin". it was about dead people in the graveyard talking to each other in their coffins.

is this is what is waiting for me ?

Night shifts used to really mess my head up because I’d only manage to sleep 5 hours by day. I’d drink far too much coffee and perhaps a Red Bull through the night so not conducive to a restful sleep. Maybe time you changed to daytime hours?

Yes it is, mixing up letters is common in dyslexia. But it was clearly a joke, not having a sense of humor I can see how you'd misinterpret that.

My grandson worked three-shifts in Volvo car production for a while, and it was extremely exhausting for his health and social life. He never had enough sleep.
