Should there be a double standard for you GB?

You seem to be operating under the delusion that you can post whatever you want with no consequences. Much of what you post is incredibly annoying to a large number of people. Minor changes would be required to make your 'offerings' more palatable to your audience. Yet, you persist and throw out the victim card when people react to you negatively.

Perhaps you need to evaluate the negative impact you have on what is, arguably, a captive audience. As I said, it wouldn't take much to turn your blunt object posts into something readable. I assume you think you're being eloquent, but, you often come across as unnecessarily obtuse(I suffer from this myself, sometimes deliberately). Often, your posts read as thinly veiled attacks on other posters. Is this your intent? Perhaps it doesn't matter. Still I'd encorage you to try to be clearer in your posts, make a point.

Please consider that many a valid, legitimate and interesting message you have tried to convey is lost on your audience because of your eccentric, flowery wording and/or poorly phrased almost random thoughts.

I've said all this in 10 words or less, like, last year.

Bobby won't change. He's always right and we're usually wrong. He's aware that many of us consider him pompous and condescending, but he craves the notoriety. It's his food and drink. Any opposition from us becomes fuel for his sanctimonious preaching. At the end of the day, he'd rather be despised than overlooked.

It's tiresome, no question.. but it's just Bobby being Bobby.

There's only one Hand on the RHP site far as I know and he is not

in the possession of anyone. Use thumbs and big toes, Seitse.

Funnily enough, I'm in negotiations for ownership rights to Natsia. I also own a piece of paper that entitles me to the soul of Charles U Farley when he's done using it. This deal was negotiated for a container of Cherry Jello when we were in grade 4. I'm still coming to collect when he croaks.

I'll trade two toadstools, three cat's eyes, one witches wart, some St. Johns Wort and a partridge in a pear tree for Natsia.

No double standards for anybody, now or ever... irrespective of member, subscriber or volunteer status; tenure, clan or club membership; chess rating, language proficiency, intelligence quotient; ancestry, gender, age, disabilit, political/spiritual or other persuasions. Yes... on the awesome privilige of freedom of speech as well as the responsibilities that accompany it. Let's realize that the complementary second freedom of being yourself in expressing viewpoints within the capacity limitations of your own unique personality and style is always linked to the first. Giving others the time, space and latitude of their own lives to live is a fantastic though seldom given gift, and it's a gift to be appreciated. Let's also realize that the voluntary experience of reading posts on an internet bulletin board is often the rough equivalent of eating fish. Of course there's going to be bones. So what does a sensible person do? Swallow them? Gag? Just set them to one side of the cyberplate. Keep on eating or skip any particular fish for which you haven't yet acquired a taste. As to your honest criticism of 'my fish', I'm aware it often stinks. Seems to be the nature of a relaxed and playful porpoise that sometimes becomes burdened or intense.

One of these days we're going to have a nice relaxed long lunch, so that I

can screw your head on straight after you do mine. That lunch is on me.

Voluntary? Hmmm... really? If I posted a thread titled "GB Sucks Balls" wouldn't you be compelled to read it?

Saying that not reading your threads or being exposed to your ideas is voluntary is arguable. As an illustration, lets equate the RHP forums to a very large coffee shop. You like this coffee shop, it's comfortable, serves great Cafe Mocha's, the occasionaly waitress is hot and slightly deviant, all the best things you like in a homey feeling coffee house.

Then while you're minding your own business, some guy, lets call him The Hand, walks in with no pants on, yells some nonsense about dog molestation at the top of his lungs and takes a dump on the floor. Are you voluntarily able to avoid noticing him? How's that particular bit of fish taste?

In a similar illustration, you're in the same coffee shop enjoying a nice toasted bagel and a warm cup of tea when this older, slightly bloated gentleman, lets call him GB, dressed in a red cardigan blunders into the place knocking over several patrons. He then wanders to the front of the line and starts ordering stuff at random, some of it he makes up and they don't even serve at a coffee shop. He then sits down next to you and starts reading your paper over your shoulder. He whips out a crayon and starts filling in your crossword with the wrong answers. You can see his mouth moving and you can hear him speaking, but, he makes absolutely no sense better than 50% of the time. Can you voluntarily avoid him. Does looking away help? Do you leave the coffe shop? Or do you see if you can track down the guy with no pants for a meaningful debate?

Unbecoming of a gentleman to strain and unlike you to appear so off

balance. You're trying too hard. Parse, synthesize or get off the pot.

Just read the post you lazy sob. Its funny.

This is why people take a dislike to you GB. You are, by accident or design, antagonistic most of the time. Based on significant qualitative eveidence, I have concluded that it is no accident that you are a numbsack. Therefore, you'll be treated as such.

Regards.
