@gambrel saidNow the fried bologna Sandwich would have sounded good 20 years ago! 😉
Peanut butter and lettuce sandwich.
I had a babysitter that made those for lunch. My favorite thing she made was fried bologna sandwich.
We don't want to say what is in that do we? 🙂

@gambrel saidNever ate roaches, crickets, or worms, but I do like the canned roasted river eel one can find at Asian grocery stores.
Post your culinary abominations here
(I don't like sea eel because there are too many needle-like bones for it to be worth the trouble.)
@very-rusty saidI figure you're a little guy. Little guys are the scrappiest. 😉
Being you've never seen me you have no idea how big I am! 😛 🙂
Blowing hot air again for others? 🙂

(Probably has something to do with the shorter neuronal distances, plus chronic fear of the big guys.)

@contenchess saidDid you get gout? That could happen eating like that I'd bet. I know liver, it filters out toxins, has a strong odor similar to urine and blood, which smells of iron or metal. My mom made it and loved it
I ate liver for a year once...
Everyone hated the smell but I didn't mind it.
It smelled like cooked blood.
I thought liver would makes me huge.
It didn't.
I got huge with carbs and salt. 💪
I haven't eaten it in 55 years lol
@gambrel saidIt was original Iron Chef (the only one that matters) that got me to even think of trying roasted river eel (albeit in a can).

@gambrel saidMy mom used to cook beef liver for us, too. I actually like beef liver with some onions and ketchup, but eat it rarely because of the trouble of having to thaw it and then having enough for several meals.

@kevin-eleven saidIn the meat business we call tongue, liver, kidney etc offals. Because they "fall off" the main carcass. People used to eat more heart, liver, sweet breads than today.
