Besides, not all drug testing facilites (especially when it's for employment purposes) do the FULL urinalysis procedure. They do a "rapid screen" to check for specific things, most of which can be covered up...like THC counts. THC (main component of marijuana) can be found in urine; but can also be diluted through measures such as:
1) water
2) certain juices
3) certain bladder infection medicines
4) detox drinks
5) herbal extracts like goldenseal
This was back in the day, of course. But I'm sure what was true then, is true now.

Everytime someone figures out a little stopgap measure to get by the testing, The Man goes back to work and figures out how to win again.
Personally I am against it. All of the really hard drugs are out of your system in a matter of hours. You can probably go in frying on acid and pass the test as last time I checked it was not one of the substances looked for. The majority of people being caught are the weekend pot smokers and the only reason pot is included in the testing is because it is easy to catch and pads their numbers. Then they can point their fingers and tell you what a bad person you are and dictate how much help you need. This obviously is my opinion.
Like I said, I am against it. I used to smoke and I miss it. The Man is in your bankbook, your bedroom, and now your body. Where does it all end. America is fighting against medical marijuana, ridiculous!

A friend of mine has to have regular drugs tests at work as part of an agreement. Something to do with POVA. He has suffered from mental problems in the past, partly caused by taking drugs, so as he started work in a hospital, he had to agrre to this. Anyways, long story short blah, he has never failed one of these but is not sure how he has managed this. He thought he would have been caught bang to rights with the test he had just after his 40th birthday. Nothing nada zilch. And this was without preventative measures being taken and in a piss test taken by a hospital.

I had a friend who was on probation for 2 years for a non-drug crime.
He was piss tested monthly during the entire time, and during the entire time he smoked pot DAILY.
His routine that he swore by:
1. Not smoke 2 FULL days before the test.
2. Drink GALLONS of water for those 2 days.
3. HE SWORE by "Test Clear", the chewable type, not pill form.
In all that time, he only came up "dirty" once. And that was the time he didn't have enough cash to buy the "Test Clear" product.

I had a friend who smoked pot. His name is John *****. When he asked me to recommend him for a job at my company I knew he was a worthless pieces of $hit (as far as work goes). Just because he was my friend (I saved his life earier) doesn't mean that I have to ignore the fact that he can't hold a job. 😕
Anyways, I thought that maybe... just MAYBE if John had a good paying job then he might change his life around! YEAH! So I lied on the form and recommended him for employment. I feel really bad about that now... 🙁
Guess what? My company was smarter than both of us. They not only checked for drugs using the "hair sample method", they also checked for the chemical that removes the traces of marijuana! Yup, John was trashed.
