I can kind of understand it . Hacking around on the site can't be allowed . What if they were hacking pm's , game pages , or worse yet people's moves ? I think zero tollerance for any kind of hacking is probably the best policy .
So (and I'm not making names here) ONE knew the bug on the system. and comunicated his/her finding to the other users.
Unethical, to say the least.
He/she should have to report the bug *inmediatly* to Russ.
That person deserves the most severe sanction.
At least. this is my honest opinion.

An update on this :
I arrived late last night, and I only had to see this forum title to know I had to do a quick fix. (Which went live last night about 2 minutes after I became aware of what was going on)
It was after midnight though, so I was in no mood to comment on the evenings proceedings.
I will probably revoke the bans now anyway, as I can take the blame for this one. (I had made a school boy error when I recoded the forums recently.) In future though guys, please let me know if you find anything like this (never again!) before spamming up the forums!

Perhaps a taste of his own medicine will cause him to spend more time with his sadly neglected new son.

I was just about to write an excessivly rude post on banning people for nothing...
I do so hate it when the wind is taken out of my sails...
Can't you keep them banned (like caged animals) for another 48 hours, so I can still write my post?
Originally posted by XanthosNZI have to agree in a way, not so much that he does'nt show remorse but in a way that Phlabibit should lead by example. Because his betrayal was more severe, I think his bannishment should be longer. When your own turn against you, you must strike with an iron fist and assert your control.

Also others may have not realized how much this would irratate you if they saw a mod doing it. I mean if I saw phlab do something, I might be led to think that it was ok here.
