@very-rusty saidWhat portfolio of reasons for thumbing up someone’s death would you be choosing from?
This may come as big surprise to you but you make more bad friends than good ones.
I had assumed from what you've said previously thumbs didn't matter to you???
Have you reversed your mind on this?

@suzianne saidIt’s horrible.
The death of a pet so young is horrible.
When they're old, you kind of expect it to be soon-ish, plus you have memories of your time with them.
I've had a lot of older rescue dogs, and it hurt to say goodbye to all of them.
But a two-year-old is in the prime of life, you expect to have them and enjoy them for quite a while at least. Very sad.
The human impact is testament to the love we have for animals.
@divegeester saidIn your case it would depend upon my mood and if I had my morning coffee. 😛 🙂

I regret to inform you that you are not the most likeable person on this site. 🙂

@divegeester saidA female border collie aged 6 who’s now 10. She’d been at the dogs home for over a year as she was what they call “reactive”, thus not an easy dog to rehome. I initially walked her in the evenings to avoid contact with other dogs. She has to be sedated before any vets examination and is muzzled before she can be groomed but she’s come on in leaps and bounds, a clever dog who is still leaning new things. She’s very loving and is never more than a few feet behind me around the house.
What type of dog is it you rescued?
