Wow.

Just got me one of these. I've had complaints about my grooming habits, and usually use the lack of my favourite brand of disposable razor in the local shop as an excuse. Her indoors suggested an electric one, and i said that they weren't good for my face, being a little sensative in the skin area for hot rotating blades an all........Then i saw this.

I rarely rave about electrical products, less so about toiletries....This is the Dog's Bollox lads. I can use it in the shower, it spits out moisturiser that cools the blades and makes the thing glide....I look so cool bringing this thing out after my shower in the gym.......sweet.

Three prices, the only difference i could garner was the battery....I got mine from Argos for €139 (the mid range one).

My quesation is....why did they bugger about trying to invent stupid stuff like the combustion engine, or the wheel, when it was obvious that a moisturising electric razor was so mucxh more important?

How's it do on the ol' twig n'berries?

Edit: what I'm mean to say is, does it polish up the biscuit sack adequately, does it lube up and prep the undercarriage? How's it do around the puckered purple starfish of forbidden love, is the ol' rock road entry pattern cleared for landing?

I bought a couple of refills for the shaving conditioner, and they give you the part of the razor that holds it with the bottle, so you can just click it off, and replace it......How cool is that. It says in the book that it is proper to change it twice a year for hygeine reasons.

why do they have to attach the 'for men' label to a shaver? shouldn't that be the default?😕

do they have another range called 'Nivea for Hirsute Women'?

Seriously large plate of Man-The-F-Up needs serving to you guys. Gillette mach anything under running water. Should be able to make a single blade last 6 months. If it hurts or you get a rash then just get over it.

Bunch of softies!

That sounds like a LOT from this side of the Atlantic. BUT, once you've got used to an electric razor you can never go back to manual. What a time-consuming procedure that just feeds the coffers of the marketing machine. My useless sons gave me a battery-powered five-blade Gillette for Christmas because my old Philips broke. It cut me, so I've shoved it into a cupboard and bought a new electric instead.

Shaving under a shower is a serious waste of water. Get in, get clean, then get out and shave properly.
