I remember doing a lot of photos in photoshop a long time ago, so this might not help. I think you have to do all of your adjustments to it. a.k.a. lighting/contrast, color cordination, and crap like that, then before you sharpen the photo, you change the settings in the file; save as; from the before file to JPG.

"Save as", then choose JPEG. Then you can choose the quality.

How does that qualify as a "photoshop skill"?

Seems more like a life skill.

Like feeding yourself without assistance.

I'm guessing you have been playing around with layers and have not flatened your image yet.
Make sure you are viewing your layers by placing a tick next to layers in your "Window" menu
Now look for the tiny arrow on the layers tab - you can flaten your image from there.

That has nothing to do with saving an image as a j-pig.

Ow! How'd you manage that?

Give a shout when you're up for it. Should has out the theme rules and all that for a thread.

Saving it as a jpeg will automatically flatten/merge all the layers.

Rumour is it was a freak accident involving a large pear, two priests, a rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle of it, and an unfortunate lack of lubricant.
