I was reading through this thread and have found Grampy Bobby's posts to be crisp and refreshing. They also lack the spelling errors that others have been making.

Not all questions end with a question mark. Such as in an indirect question (which Bobby's first sentence could be considered) or a polite request which his first sentence could be considered as it could be a simple request for a response.

How about "bullcrap" or the more stronger version that you cannot type or it gets deleted?

... and, at times, probably ____ (fill in the blank) and ascerbic. So, what. Since when have any of us become that insipid docile, lobotomized gentle or spiritually pure? For four years I've witnessed you vibrating over virtually any opinion on any topic which differed from your own, especially if expressed by a person whose language style and/or point of view differed from your own.

For your own and for your family and for the future's sake please shed the childish conduct. No need to agree with anybody, just consider giving other individualistic RHP Members a fair shake (a listen) and a wide berth to new ideas contrary to our own.

Thanks for reading this, Tim. Let's play a few unrated chess games with an easy timebank, as soon as your gameload will allow.

I won't bother to brace myself for your rebuttal. You're only going to expose yourself.
Pardon me if i expose myself a bit.

" You missed the mark completely. You accuse GB of not asking a question that is clearly stated in his first sentence."

I didn't miss the mark, i missed the question mark but not the mark. I accept that was a bit facetious, but it was hard to understand the point of the thread when the thread itself is based on a flawed premise - eg, that language in itself can have sentient intelligence.

"And you have such ego to state that the rest of his post is bunkum?! Is that a fact? If so, does it make it a fact simply because you, the hound, say it is so?! Or would you have the cajonies to man up and admit to an opinion?

Look mate, i know you've had an itch in your arse over me for a long time. I've had a pain in my face over you sinc you sent me those PMs about my wife. I'd rather rate those above anything i've posted in this thread, and rather find it funny that you would take the moral high ground over me. Anything i post here is an opinion, can anyone provide proof that i've stated it was anything else? I think not mate, and you projecting things on to me so as to use it against me doesn't make it so.

"Here's my opinion, you rarely have anything of any value to post. Simple cheap-shots and sarcasm. I try to like you and get along with you but your nature is just too caustic. Take a break dude. If your life is centered around being an internet bully then I guess you are being all you can be (as the Army ad states) 🙂 Good luck with that... Your act is tired.

This is the first post of yours i've replied to in a long time (over a year, i guess). I've only made like 45 posts in the past 5 months. One page is entirely on the subject of "are all babies atheist", and half a page is about solar panels.

One post is "Junior's cheesecake is awesome", one is "hello, how you doin mucker" to Cadwah. That leaves about...15 posts. Now three (four after this) is in this thread, and...well, you know what, search my posts from 1 June 2011 to now, and post the caustic responses for me and provide facts for your assertion.

If this response does expose me, then i hope it exposes the truth. I knew you were just waiting to start this thing up again, so "fill your boots mate" as they say in London.

Have a good day now 🙂

Spelling and grammar go hand in hand.

If you find no errors in the last two pages then:

If so, can you please tell me what:

1. An ‘indutrial revolution’ is?

2. Why there are unnecessary commas (none needed) in the sentence “If our roles were reversed, I'd find someone, who was also fluent in your language, to help me figure out what the heck you were trying to say... lol. “?

3. Why “So, what.” doesn’t have a question mark, as per previous posts questioned?

4. Why “No need to agree with anybody, just consider giving other individualistic RHP Members a fair shake (a listen) and a wide berth to new ideas contrary to our own.” isn’t divided into two sentences?; the first sentence stopping after ‘anybody’ (full stop required – or ‘period’ for non-English).
I won’t delve into the commas required in the second sentence, as it might confuse you.

Do you find no errors, really?

Refreshing after five moves of yours?

You must be well acquainted with GB, for sure. IP address checks required.. 😀 😀

1) Typo. (Nitpicky in the extreme, Mike, as if 'industrial' presented a challenge.

2) Elliptical modifier and lengthy sentence breathing pause... thinking aloud.

3) Walk on question delivered as an emphatic statement for emphasis!

4) Compound predicate. Two sentences or semi-colon would have made

it choppy... going against the grain, since the wording seemed to wish to flow.

Why impugn motive? Hardly a warm welcome to a brand new RHP Member.

Believe Russ & Chris still wish to increase not decrease site membership.

It is interesting. However, it is also saddening to see that the words about 'language' itself have not been described as 'alive and ever changing.'

Language develops naturally and incrementally, daily.

Unfortunately, in my opinion, langauge is on a massive descent, as people become more lazy and unchallenged in its use.

As for English.... hmmmmm.

Seems that, metaphorically, American stealth bombers that get lost have the same affect upon true English words..... destroyed and unfindable when crashed out of usage.

So sad. :'(

Hi, Mike. Just a brief word from an American stealth bomber. It's effect.

R u ok.

Even a question mark for the language would show a little respect, and not contempt for it.

C u l8r = see you later, that all youngsters use nowadays.

What will happen to the riches of Tennyson, Shakers, Browning etc.?

Tomorrow's future isn't good for the histrionic books, is it?

After all, aren't they where we keep our records of learning from mistakes?
